Put Waste in The Right Place—Petition for a Clean Community

According to a study, about 15-60% of waste in the Philippines, nationwide, is improperly disposed of or littered. Waste management in the Philippines is a big problem all over the country—and our community is no different.

We noticed that in our communities, people carelessly litter their trash or waste anywhere. This causes an effect in our community wherein there is litter everywhere and there is no regard for the overall cleanliness in our community. In light of this problem, we started a petition so that people in our community will become more aware about their actions and start acting upon it. We want to promote cleanliness and we encourage people to properly dispose of their trash—and to not just throw it anywhere.
